Propmaker is a Dallas based design and prop house which offers luxury rentals for events alongside custom design and bespoke production. Our line of high-end rentals serves the wedding, corporate, retail, non-profit and social industries where we engage with planners from across the country to plan decor for some of the area’s most lavish events.
Design is a passion which has taken root in our business. From sketches and 3d renderings to full blown production, we are constantly creating on behalf of our clientele. We have recently begun taking commissions for custom permanent art installations in restaurant and commercial interiors as well.
Our collection is ever evolving, staying abreast of global trends in interior design. Emily, our founder and lead designer, drives the vision for the signature Propmaker aesthetic. Propmaker maintains itself as a boutique luxury rental and design shop in order to stay nimble in our design offerings. At the end of a season, you may find Propmaker hosting a large warehouse sale to make way for new inventory (follow us on Instagram to be alerted to awesome deals!). Our collections are retired frequently ensuring we keep current with trends and our pieces stay in like-new condition.
When you call on Propmaker, you will connect directly with Emily on design. With her notebook of sketches in hand, Emily is an expert in taking client ideas all the way through to production. In her highly visual nature, often times clients will be surprised with 3d design plans during the concept stages. Emily’s graphic abilities offer a unique skill set to planners so the vision and plan are clearly communicated to everyone involved in the production. Andrew, co-founder of Propmaker (and Emily’s husband), is most likely to be spotted on-site for the event installation while overseeing our crew and production.
The event and retail industries rely heavily on logistics masterminds to pull off the types of installations during the timeframes allotted day-after-day. Our team carefully preps for every event with detailed timelines and floorplans, pre-loaded trucks, carefully checked traffic maps, and key contacts in hand. All this preparation enables our team to effectively deliver and install rentals and custom productions in a timely manner,keeping the day moving along without interruption.
Our company carries comprehensive commercial liability insurance so you are always protected in the case of the unexpected happening; though we have never had to use it. We hold our crew to the highest of standards to make sure our company is representing our clientele’s best interest at every turn. Often times we enter venues, retail stores or commercial settings where we are moving equipment and fixtures among our clients’ customers and employees. We take great responsibility when operating in these environments, moving about the premises with the utmost respect and professionalism.
